we got snow! we don't get much snow in these parts of kentucky. but we did get a beautiful fall of flurries the other morning. it was melted by the afternoon. it was enough to take a brief walk, gaze out the window, and read one of our favorite snow books, Snow by Uri Shulevitz. if you've never read it, you should.
the skies are gray. the rooftops are gray. the whole city is gray. then one snowflake. "it's snowing" said boy with dog..... then two snowflakes..."
kai and i are hoping for one big snow fall this year ..... please, oh please.
